Designed to fit under a sink or in a small cabinet, the Maximiser is a compact, powerful and space-saving water softener suitable for the average home with up to 3 bathrooms and 5 people.
The Maximiser 410 utilises the same 5-button System Controller technology found on the full-size Hague softeners which allows for Absolute Brining. The controller can retain settings for up to seven days without power.
The built-in, self-cleaning, whole-house filter eliminates the need for an in-line sediment filter.
Annual servicing is not required, and the filter media never needs to be changed, making it a firm favourite amongst Hydroworks customers.
Best of all, the softener regenerates quietly and quickly.

Digital Controller
Operates in three languages and retains cycle settings, even through power outages (up to 7 days).
Bypass Valve
Simply turn the dial to BYPASS so water does not enter the appliance. To return the appliance to service, simply turn the dial to the SERVICE position.
Built-in Self-cleaning Filter
Filters dirt and sediment smaller than the human eye can see. There's never any cartridges to change and no maintenance is required.
Safety Shut-off System
Helps to prevent the possibility of overflows.
Fine Mesh Resin
Patented mineral tank allows vacuum packed resin to provide a lot of softening power in a small space, eliminating the need for a 2nd tank.
Grid Plate
The grid plate in the separated salt storage compartment provides a dedicated compartment to ensure consistent brine concentration, and also makes it easy to keep the softener clear of salt compaction.
‘Edge-to-edge’ Screen Design
At Hydroworks, we have coined the phrase ‘Edge-to-Edge’ to explain the value of the complete screen design, which helps prevent channelling within the resin bed, which produces softer feeling water, every time.
Versatile Salt Options
The Hague Maximiser 410 uses either tablet or block salt for convenience. Tablet salt is cheaper but requires cleaning the softener every three years. Block salt creates a purer brine solution, so regular cleaning isn’t needed. Important: Only use Grade A non-sea or lake salt.
