Courier charges are steep for heavy packages. We have our own vans to keep costs down. We also put your salt away and can do a free water softener health check while we are there (by request).

Our Salt Tablets are suitable for all water softeners designed for tablet or granular salt. They dissolve easily and leave no residue. Also available in 25kg bags. They are hard-compressed, non-dusty, food grade, good cylinder shaped and dissolve slowly to form a quality brine solution.

When we deliver your salt to you, if you would like us to do a health check on your softener, we will be happy to do this for you free of charge. If my team identifies anything that needs doing, my Lead Engineer, James, or I will be more than happy to visit to give a free quote to get your water softener working perfectly again.

Our prices include free delivery to your home or business where we will put your salt neatly away in your preferred location. We will refill your water softener for you, and check the performance of the softener to ensure it is producing beautifully softened water.

As the salt market in the UK grows, we are seeing more sea & lake salt entering the UK market. It’s not being sold any cheaper than the top-quality Harvey product but brings with it several problems:

Fine sand sediment, which can scratch the valve of a water softener, and
Seafoam can fill the cylinder and create areas within it that are very difficult to regenerate and, therefore, can lead to hard water, and
An oil residue from impurities in the water can coat the valve of the softener and prevent the efficient working of the unit, resulting in hard water.

If you have been buying granular salt, please instead order 25kg tablet salt or 10kg tablet salt, which is much better for your water softener as it reduces wear and tear and improves the life expectancy of your machine.
