Thank you so much for visiting my business.

I’ve designed and created this website to be honest, helpful, and backed by facts - not fluff. The site continues to grow as I constantly work on it, adding more insights and resources over time.

Every page has been written by me, in my own words, based on over 25 years of unique experience in water treatment. I am very good at solution-finding, and this skill has proven very popular with our customers - it seems we often get called to help solve the more complicated installations.

(If you spot an error or have an idea for extra content, I’d genuinely love to hear from you. I take great care to ensure everything here is accurate.)

One thing you may wonder is why I run by the job title, 'Head of Future'.  Well, my business turns 99 years old this year, and I working hard to lay strong foundations for the next 100.  That means giving my team a more central place in the business - so I'm no longer 'the boss'.  Instead, I see myself as the Custodian - as someone leading the way, nurturing their growth, and encouraging them to carry the light forward.

Hydroworks is our family-run business, providing a living and a sanctuary of support and hope for five families. 

We are entirely independent, which means we have no supplier contracts.  Zero.  Zilch. Which means you can trust us to give you BEST advice, not sales-target advice.

We have our main office in Faversham - Kent, and we also operate out of my home in Haywards Heath - West Sussex.  By far, our largest customer base is South East London, although, with over 18,000 customers, we travel and look after customers weekly all over Kent, Sussex,  Surrey, and South London as far west as Richmond, then down through Pulborough and on towards Worthing.

We specialise in water softening, private supply filtration, reverse osmosis, and quality salt supplies for homes and businesses. We’re also proud to be a leading supplier to two of the UK leaders of our sector - Harvey Softeners and Quooker Boiling Water Taps.

Now celebrating our 99th year, Hydroworks is the world’s second-oldest water softener company still trading today — a legacy we carry with pride, integrity, and a genuine love for what we do.

We don’t just sell equipment - we help you make informed, long-term decisions based on your needs, budget, and water quality.

Expert Installation 

Our friendly team offer professional, tidy installations that meet the highest technical standards. We treat your home with care and respect - always.  We don't sub-contract, and we only do one installation a day, so we won't be rushing to get the job done!  If things don't quite go to plan, we will work with you to find out why, and to find a solution.

We stock only the best PDV Grade A and Mined Salt to keep your softener running smoothly. Our range includes:

• Harvey Mini Curve block salt (for Harvey Arc, Innova & TwinTec Cobalt)
  
  

• 10kg & 25kg tablet salt (10kg bags are lighter weight, but 25kg bags give you best value)
  
  

• NEW rectangular mini blocks (coming soon - same weight as Mini Curve, but fits all softeners - exceptional quality)

I don't buy into sales for the sake of profit.  We will always suggest the best product for your home, not the one that gives us the best margin.  We will never put you under pressure. No pushy sales. Just genuine, competitive pricing and transparent advice - always.
