Our salt tablets are designed to keep your water softener running smoothly and efficiently. Most commercial softeners use tablet salt.
We source our salt tablets from trusted suppliers who guarantee the highest quality, ensuring they do not void your softener warranty and minimise wear and tear. The tablets are pure salt, hard, non-dusty, well-shaped, and dissolve slowly to form a brine solution. They comply with British Standard BS EN 973.

Tablet salt is also available in 10kg bags.

FREE HEALTH CHECK

During delivery, if you would like us to perform a health check on your water softener, we will do so at no charge. If my team identifies any work that needs to be done, we will provide a quote. Our prices include free delivery to your home or business where we will put your salt neatly away in your preferred location. We will refill your water softener for you, and check the performance of the softener to ensure it is producing beautifully softened water.

🧂 Why Salt Quality Really Matters

We only supply pure Grade A PDV salt — because anything less can devastate your softener.

Some salts now entering the UK market (like sea salt, lake salt, and solar-evaporated varieties) aren’t actually cheaper — but they’re packed with things your softener really can’t handle.

⚠️ Here’s what can happen with the wrong salt:

Seafoam builds up inside your softener. This is often caused by algae or seaweed spores that thrive in salty environments — and once they’re in, they’re almost impossible to flush out - your softener begins to breed algae because this type of algea thrives in salt water environments.
You’ll also get oil residue from boats and ships — this coats everything internally and causes seals to slip, meaning parts stop fitting properly.
And then there’s the coarse and fine sand sediment, which can scratch the valve and damage precision components.

In short? It’s not worth the risk.
